Product Overview¶
The ION-E100-HD encodes an HDMI source for transport over an IP network. Web-based configuration tools provide remote management, and network APIs allow integration with supported video management systems.
The encoder supports two H.264 streams and an optional third MJPEG stream, with input resolutions up to 720p at 60 fps or 1080p at 30 fps. Contact IONODES for supported VMS integrations. Some advanced parameters must be configured through IONODES tools rather than the VMS. Optional microSD edge recording and video analytics depend on the device configuration.

| MICRO SD (optional) | MicroSD slot for edge recording on equipped units. Insert a FAT-formatted card to enable the associated functionality. A card is not supplied. |
Rear Panel¶

| Terminal block header | Accepts the supplied terminal block socket for serial, digital input, relay, and power connections. |
| AUDIO IN / OUT | Shared 3.5 mm jack. One stereo channel carries audio input and the other carries audio output. |

| ETHERNET / PoE | Network port. Use a straight-through Category 5 or 6 RJ45 cable. The port accepts a compliant Power over Ethernet source. |
| RESET | Supports a hardware reset or a complete reset of configuration parameters to defaults. |
Warnung
A complete reset removes the device configuration. Confirm the reset procedure with IONODES before using the button to restore defaults; a button-hold duration is not specified in this manual.

The product serial-number label is on the underside of the enclosure. Provide this number when requesting service so support can identify the device and factory configuration.
Mounting screws and a microSD card are not supplied.
