Installation and Connections¶

Place the encoder on a stable surface or secure it using the enclosure's mounting holes.
Allow airflow around the unit and leave clearance for cables at the front and rear.
Route cables to avoid trip hazards and mechanical strain on connectors.
Use care when securing mounting screws to avoid damaging the enclosure.
Keep the equipment away from liquids and heat sources.
Use a power source compatible with the device's labeling. The power input and terminal block pinout are described in Product Overview.

Warnung

Confirm the power-source requirements before connecting external power. Do not infer electrical ratings from another IONODES product.

Do not open or modify the enclosure to attempt a repair. Contact IONODES if the unit is damaged or requires service.
