Installation and Connections

• Place the encoder on a stable surface or secure it using the enclosure's mounting holes.
• Allow airflow around the unit and leave clearance for cables at the front and rear.
• Route cables to avoid trip hazards and mechanical strain on connectors.
• Use care when securing mounting screws to avoid damaging the enclosure.
• Keep the equipment away from liquids and heat sources.
• Use a power source compatible with the device's labeling. The power input and terminal block pinout are described in Product Overview.

Warning

Confirm the power-source requirements before connecting external power. Do not infer electrical ratings from another IONODES product.

Handling

Do not open or modify the enclosure to attempt a repair. Contact IONODES if the unit is damaged or requires service.
