Read and save these instructions. Follow all warnings and instructions specified within this document and on the equipment.

The PERCEPT BC200 and accessories must be used only as described in this documentation and by personnel with appropriate training.

To reduce the risk of fire, battery damage, or personal injury, observe the following precautions:

  • Use the device only within the specified operating conditions.
  • Use charging equipment that meets the product specifications.
  • Do not place the device near heat sources or in environments where temperatures may exceed specified limits, such as inside a parked vehicle.
  • Do not drop, crush, puncture, or otherwise subject the device to excessive mechanical force.
  • Do not attempt to modify, repair, or disassemble the device except as described in the product documentation.
  • Do not use the device if it appears damaged or otherwise abnormal.
  • Inspect the device regularly for physical damage. Discontinue use if the enclosure is cracked, damaged, or no longer seals properly.
  • Store the device within the specified storage temperature range.

Warning

Opening the main sealed enclosure, removing or damaging tamper-evident labels on the sealed body, or otherwise modifying the product may void the warranty.

Warning

Battery replacement must be performed only by authorized personnel using the approved service procedure. Unauthorized replacement can void the product warranty.

Disposal

The PERCEPT BC200 contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Dispose of the device, battery, and related components in accordance with applicable local regulations.

  • Do not dispose of batteries in household waste where prohibited by law.
  • Recycle batteries through approved collection and recycling programs whenever possible.
