Point-to-Point Connections

Use the web application to configure direct connections from an ION-E100-HD to an ION-R100.

1. Open Configuration > Video In.
2. Select video input 1.
3. Scroll to the Point to Point 1, Point to Point 2, and Point to Point 3 sections at the bottom of the page.
4. Configure the desired connection.
5. Select Save at the bottom of the page to create or update the connection.

Parameter	Description
Enabled	Enables or disables this connection.
Description	Free-form description for the user; it is not used by the device.
Encoder	Selects H.264 High-Quality or H.264 Low-Quality, referring to encoders configured earlier on the same page.
Destination IP	Destination ION-R100 IP address or a multicast group address. DNS names are not supported by the documented interface.
Destination Port	Destination network port. It must match the port configured on the ION-R100.
