Installation

Equipment Installation

The ION-R150 can be installed on a flat surface or mounted using the included VESA hardware.

Desktop Placement

Place the ION-R150 on a flat, stable surface such as a desktop. Position the unit to allow cable clearance at the front and rear and maintain adequate airflow around the enclosure.

VESA Mounting

The ION-R150 can be mounted behind a monitor or to another compatible mounting structure using the included VESA mounting bracket and screws.

All dimensions in the bracket schematic are in millimeters.

Confirm that the unit is secure and that cable clearance is maintained at the front and rear.

Avertissement

Take care not to damage the enclosure when using mounting screws. Do not overtighten the screws.

Heat Dissipation

For optimal cooling, ensure adequate airflow around the device during operation.

Avertissement

Do not touch the ION-R150 with bare skin during operation. Gentle airflow and/or mounting to a larger metal object with the included VESA bracket may be needed to keep the surface temperature safe for brief skin contact.

Do not cover the heatsink fins or otherwise obstruct airflow around the device.

Heat dissipation may be improved by mounting the device to a larger metal surface, such as a shelf, enclosure, or monitor mounting bracket, or by providing additional airflow around the device.
