Product Overview¶
The ION-R150 is a single-monitor Secure Display Station that decodes H.265, H.264, and MJPEG video streams for display on a monitor at up to 4K resolution.
Connections¶
- 3 x USB 3.2: General-purpose ports for an optional keyboard and mouse or an IONODES-supplied USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
- HDMI Output: HDMI 1.4b interface for a single display at up to 4K resolution.
- Ethernet: One built-in Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Base-T) port. Use an RJ45 CAT5e or CAT6 cable. The ION-R150 cannot be powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
- Power Input: Connect the supplied 12 V DC, 4.88 A power adapter (58.5 W maximum).
- Power Button (recessed): Turns the unit on or off. Use a small pointed object, such as a paperclip, to press it.
Note
The ION-R150 supports an optional USB-to-Ethernet adapter. Only IONODES-provided adapters are officially supported. See USB-to-Ethernet Adapter.

Additional items that may be required but are not included are a USB keyboard and mouse, an HDMI display, Internet access and/or a network switch, a surge-protected power bar, and an IONODES-supplied USB-to-Ethernet adapter.
Note
When unpacking, inspect the shipment box and appliance for shipping damage. Verify that all items have been delivered. Contact an IONODES representative if any damage, defects, or missing items are identified.
Note
The product serial number label allows IONODES product support to identify the device and its factory configuration when service is required. The label is attached to the underside of the enclosure.
